Frames are brake formed to one-half the industry tolerances to guarantee exceptional fit and finish, every time. Quality products at exceptional value.
Standards Met or Exceeded:
- Meets or exceeds ANSI/SDI A250.6 – 2003 Recommended Practice for Hardware Reinforcing on Standard Steel Doors and Frames
- Locations are in accordance with ANSI/DHI A115
- Meets the requirements of ANSI A250.8 2003 (Commonly known as SDI-100)
Materials:
- Available in 16 Ga. Cold Rolled or Galvanized steel
- Tab and slot construction. No welding is required
- Frame miters are reinforced with 18 ga. Corner gussets to maintain proper alignment
Corrosion Resistance:
- Frames shall be chemically treated to insure paint adhesion
- Frames are painted with a baked on two component epoxy rust inhibitive primer
- All products meet or exceed ANSI A250.1-1998 Salt Spray resistance: Acceptance Criteria for Prime Painted Steel Doors and Frames
Standard Frame Sizes:
- Single Width 2'0" through 4'0"
- Paired Width 4'0" through 8'0"
- Height 6'8", 7'0", 8'0"
Code Compliance:
- Up to 3 Hour fire rating (UL 63) depending on wall construction
